Join the winter Junior Rangers, Park Pals, or Sprouts programs! Children from 3 to 12 years old can explore their local park, discover nature, and learn about the outdoors through hands-on activities and play. This is a fantastic and affordable 6-week program offered by your local Park Rangers and the Maryland Conservation Corps. Program takes place 10 am-12 pm on Fridays, from Feb 10-Mar 16, 2012. The project of making birdfeeders can be engaging, is particularly "gloppy," and seems to delight most young children (and young at heart).
